   Shoes 4 Schools

Shoes 4 Schools is a program dedicated to providing new shoes to children in the Pasco County school system. The program works hand-in-hand with local school’s Headstart and ABC program coordinators. Currently, 15 schools are enrolled in the program with hopes of expanding to all school across Pasco. A new pair of shoes is not only adequate footwear, but it also helps build developmental skills, self-esteem and most importantly brightens a child's day.

Shoes 4 Schools runs on generous donations from the community to provide adequate footwear for children in areas of need. Drop box locations can be found in local business around Dade City and Zephyrhills. We encourage other business to spread the word and increase our number of shoe box locations.

Why Shoes?

Purchasing something as simple as a pair of shoes may be difficult for families that struggle

financially. Many rural areas lack the necessary resources needed to provide clothing and footwear to local families. Children in rural or impoverished areas often attend school with timeworn sneakers. While decent footwear may not be the priority, it does affect their schooling, self-esteem and growth in the long run. Shoes 4 Schools would like to tackle this obstacle by delivering a new pair of shoes to underprivileged children in all areas to see them grow and flourish.
